Reflections on a year in practice

JANUARY 17, 2023

POSTED BY: HANNAH BUDD

Today we are celebrating the first anniversary of the launch of BloomBudd LLP.

Any birthday is a time for reflection and the end of this first year is no different.

During our inaugural year we have advised clients in four reported decisions including:

We have welcomed four new arrivals. Hillary Pennington Mellor and Charissa Duffy joined us from Keystone Law; Nicole Derham from Hunters Law LLP and Adilla Jamaludin joined us permanently having originally been with us on an agency basis. While being a cohesive, strong and energetic team, we celebrate our differences which provide clients with a breadth of experience and approach.

The Firm, and others, were listed in Chambers Ultra High Net worth where the team were described as “talented family law practitioners” and Chambers and Partners 2023 where the firm was recognised as ‘excellent at dealing with complex questions’. The firm has also been noted as a “Firm to Watch” in the Legal 500 which referred to Zoë Bloom’s “calm can do attitude” and the “exceptional” Hannah Budd.

In addition, the firm was one of several to be recognised in Spears Family Law Index as a ‘runner and rider’. Spears has also featured BloomBudd LLP in exciting progressive spotlight articles about changes to billing practices and new generation family lawyers.

We do not underestimate the support from our friends and colleagues both in the family world and our wider contacts. We believe family law is evolving and are thrilled to surround ourselves with other professionals who share the objectives of providing clear, strategic and outcome focussed advice. With this firmly in mind, we look forward to being part of the future of family law.
